Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Victorix collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you access or use our services.

Effective October 15, 2026Jurisdiction California, USA

Victorix is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use Victorix, including our websites, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

Information Collection and Usage

Data We Collect: To provide and improve the Services, we collect: account and profile information (such as your name, email, photo, phone number if you add one, and the details you add to your profile); your posts and requests; offers, engagements, hours, deliveries and files; messages and chat files; ratings and reviews; AI prompts (text, voice notes and PDF briefs, and the text we read from them); payment records (such as bills, amounts, and the brand and last four digits of a saved card, never the full card number); support messages; and usage and device information (such as your device type, app version, and the token we use to send you notifications).

Location and Time Zone: If you tap “Use my current location” when you post in-person work, we read your device's location once to fill in the place. We also save your time zone and country from your device, so that dates and times show correctly.

Age-Appropriate Experience: Victorix may tailor certain experiences based on age where appropriate. We collect and process information that is reasonably necessary to provide the Services, including personalization, account functionality, and safety features.

Data Minimization for Minors: For users under 18, we take additional precautions designed to limit the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information to what is reasonably necessary to provide, secure, and improve the Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without a parent or legal guardian’s consent where required by applicable law. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without required consent, we will take steps to delete it and/or obtain the required consent.

Express Hire and Automatic Features

Reading Your Request: When you use Express Hire, we send your request to our AI provider, OpenAI, which turns it into a post: the text you type, the words of a voice note, or the text of a PDF brief. Voice notes and PDFs are read for their text, and the files are never shown to experts.

Invitations Sent for You: Express invites people for you only when you choose "Invite for me" on a search, and only on the terms you agreed to there: how many people, the lowest fit, and the pace. Each invitation uses one of your Expert Invitations. You can stop it at any time.

Rules That Label Invitations and Offers: Experts can set rules that label the invitations and offers they receive, using what the post or the offer says and the rating of the person who sent it. In Shadow mode the labels only help the expert decide. In Auto mode the rules can also say "I'm interested" in an invitation for the expert. Auto mode never sends a proposal and never accepts an offer: the expert accepts or declines every offer themselves.

Automatic First Payment: Only when you choose it on an offer, the first payment is charged to your saved card when the expert accepts. We keep the sentence you agreed to, as our payment provider requires. You can turn it off until the offer is accepted.

Record of What Express Did: We keep a record of each step Express takes on a search, such as whom it invited and why, so you and our support team can check it. The record keeps ids and codes, not the words of your request.

How Long We Keep Requests: We delete the words of an Express request (the text you typed, the words of a voice note, and the text of a PDF brief) 90 days after its search ends, and at once when you delete your account.

Safeguarding Information

Security Measures: We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect user information, including encryption in transit where appropriate, access controls, and secure storage practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Parental Involvement and Control

Engagement and Transparency: We encourage parents and guardians to be involved in minors’ online activities and to discuss safe information-sharing practices. Where applicable, we provide tools and support to help manage account information and privacy settings.

User Rights: You can see and update most of your information in your profile and settings, and you can delete your account yourself (see “Deleting Your Account”). You, and where applicable a parent or guardian, may also have rights to get a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, or object to or limit some uses of it. To ask, email support@victorix.ai. We may need to confirm it's you before we answer.

How We Use Information

Service Delivery: To operate the Services, match mentors, process AI requests, and provide support.

Safety and Improvement: To monitor abuse, secure the platform, and improve features and reliability.

Who We Share Information With

Other Users: Experts see what they need to work with you: your posts, your name and profile, your ratings, and the messages you send them. The ratings and reviews you give experts are shown on their profiles.

Job Exam Results: If you set a job exam for a post, you see only the candidates who passed, with their name and score. You never see their face photo, their camera checks or their monitoring record.

Service Providers: We use these providers to run the Services, and give each only what it needs: Amazon Web Services (hosting and file storage, in the United States); Stripe (card payments); PayPal (plans bought on the website); Apple (Sign in with Apple, plans bought in the iOS app, and notifications); Google (Google sign-in, place search, video-meeting links, and Firebase for app notifications, crash reports and basic app analytics); OpenAI (AI features, including turning voice notes into text); Microsoft (sending email); Sentry (error reports from our servers); and Vercel (hosting our websites).

Legal Reasons and Safety: We may share information when the law requires it, or to protect people, our users or the Services from fraud, harm or abuse.

Company Changes: If our company is merged, acquired or sells its assets, information may move to the new owner, who must protect it as this policy says.

No Selling: We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

Cookies and Browser Storage

Our websites use only the cookies they need: cookies that keep you signed in, and one that remembers your light or dark theme. Your browser also keeps a few things on your device, such as unsent drafts and the mode you last chose, so they are there when you come back. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep your account information while your account is open. We delete the text of an AI job request 90 days after you make it, and the words of an Express request as described above. We keep records of engagements and payments, because we must keep financial records; after you delete your account, they no longer show who you are.

Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account yourself in Settings, in the app or on the website. You can't delete it while one of your engagements is still open: end or cancel it first. When you delete your account, we remove your name, email, phone number and other personal details from it, and sign you out everywhere. Records that other people still need, such as chats, ratings, engagements and payments, stay, but show you as a former user. If you signed in with Apple, we also give up our access to your Apple sign-in. Deleting your account does not cancel a plan billed by Apple or PayPal: cancel it there first.

Where We Process Information

We are based in the United States, and we store and process information there. If you use the Services from another country, your information is transferred to the United States.

Updates to Our Privacy Practices

Continuous Improvement: We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by law, such as by posting the updated policy and updating the effective date.
